Need help with hdd noise!

Post by quietal » Sat Oct 08, 2016 4:04 am

Hello!
I having some troubles with a seagate barracuda and a phanteks enthoo pro m.

As everyone i guess... i noticed that low frequency humming noise.
Its not very loud, but im very sensitive to it and i cant stop listening it!

I was searching a little trough the forum and see that elastic suspension methods.
i tried to do my own desing, but i cant find any good "holes" in the case to hold the rubber bands.

So im wondering if someone with the same case could give me some tips.

Or maybe an alternative solution to the elastic suspension.
I was considering something like two pieces or rubber and put the hdd over.

dont know :(
Thank you.

Welcome to SPCR.

Can you thread the cord through the 5.25" drive mounting slots to suspend your drive?
