Thermaltake pipe 101

Post by Blackeagle » Fri Jul 16, 2004 6:49 pm

Has anyone here tried this cooler yet? 4 heat pipes & all copper thin finned construction.

I'm interested in how well it cools & at what noise level.

Thanks :)

Is it just me, or is the P101 just a "carbon copy" (with an added pipe) of the ThermalRight SP-94 ...?

Sounds like a great idea to me. I really need a decent paperweight here. There's a fan blowing on me and it's scattering my notes all over the place. I suspect the TT will be just the ticket for something like this.

Not all thermaltake stuff is crap. Look at the Silent Boost, for example. I think you have to evaluate it on a product by product basis, rather than making blanket assumptions..

You mean the SLK-800A + Shroud + FBL08A12M1BX?

I didn't say the "Silent Boost" was crap, but now that you bring it up, it's a cheap knock-off of the Thermalright SLK800 with a rebranded M1 Panaflo on top. TT's even surprisingly got the dBA rating of the fan wrong.
