Desk top replacement CPU is "hot" because it's fast with 3.33GHz and 533MHz FSB but is also literally hot at 88 watts! Intel has indicated that future Mobile Pentium 4's will go up to 94 watts. AMD's top current performance equivalent is not especially cool running either at 81.5 watts.
