Thermalright XP-120 on AMD 3000+
I'm going to buy the Thermalright XP-120 and attach a Panaflo FBL12G12L1A fan onto it when I get my 3000+ through.
I'm going to be doing some OCing (not too much) on the 3000+ and wondered if this heatsink/fan set up would work ok? It's also going to be on a Abit Fatal1ty AN8 motherboard, and wondered if anyone could forsee some installation problems? The heatsink and fan obviously take up some room
Comments would be much appreciated.

Looking at the new SI-120 I think I may well go for it. With the new design, it'll be much easier to fit in by the looks of it.
As for the fan, I figured I'd go for it seen as it has been recommended by thermalright. Only thing is, I'm having some difficult finding where to purchase it from
Any other similar fans that will suffice?

Almost any fan that moves a little air will be enough. The most quiet ones are listed in this sticky:
The Top SPCR Quiet 120mm Axial Fans Compared + 120mmAC Fans.

I have an XP-120 on a 3500+ Winchester with a Nexus 120mm fan at the lowest fanmate setting, whatever that is. I've overclocked to 220 FSB @ 11 so am at 2.42GHz. Temps under load are around 40ºC.
It is a bugger to put on and remove though. I almost put a screwdriver right through the motherboard trying to unclip it during a rebuild. Those things are tight!
