7v/5v switch or Antec True 480 "Case fan control"

Post by fluxu8 » Wed Jun 09, 2004 10:12 am

I have the 2 Evercools on a 7/5v switch, but just got an Antec True 480. Has anyone hooked the fans to the 2 fan connectors on the ps? I may give it a shot......any feedback would be appreciated!

You're talking about the "fan only" connectors, right?

They work great. Default voltage is right about 5 volts and they ramp up to a max of about 10.5V. It takes a lot of heat/load/whatever to get them to ramp up though. I've seen them still running below 7V even when the case temp is up into the low 40°C range.
