Panaflo NMB 4710KL-B10 120x25mm

Dorothy is gonna be getting some of these in soon and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with em...

61cfm @ 25dba and they have NMB bearings, not the fluid bearings

at £14.99 they are a bit steep, but they are 25mm thick, so would fit in front mount of BQE

I have experience with *one* B10 only, so take it FWIW.

It's pretty quiet at 5-7V but has an annoying clicking noise. I'd say it was a tiny bit quieter than an L1A at the same voltage.

If you're just looking for a front BQE fan, a 5V 80mm L1A, or a 5-7V 92mm Nexus or 5V 120mm Nexus or Globe would be more than enough airflow to cool your drives.

I got two NMB 4710KL-04W-B19 as samples and they click at around 5-7V as Ralf had mentioned. I wouldn't buy the NMB for low noise applications. The globe fans are great...just have to do some modifications with the thermistor, if you plan on using a fan controller with it.

Yes, that is the correct model.

As far as the price, it sounds a little steep. For comparison, in the US they're $9 each, plus whatever for shipping.

http://www.koolnquiet.co.uk/index.php?main=catalog&id=6 £12 plus P&P Also I think KustomPC do them.
Not surprisingly we seem to pay way too much for our fans in the uk. It was significantly cheaper to order some nexus fans from the Netherlands than buy from uk. The postage was cheaper also and arrived in 4 days.

Right, 2x nexus 120mm from koolnquiet come to a total of £35 delivered.

I can get 2x globe 120mm for £26 delivered

from which netherlands store did you order your nexus's?

rechecked.
1 x 120 + 2x92 + 2x80 = 66.95 Euro = £46 from www.silentpc.nl whereas koolnquiet = £58

Krooton...since the fan has a thermistor, you should(not necessary) cut off the thermistor and short (tie) the two wires together. This way, you can use your fan controller to control the globe fan without the thermistor interface with the speed control.
