Is this the same fan? Both are 22,8 dBA, both are 1000rpm, both are 120mm

Wow, that could be a nexus...except that its not orange... who knows? I wonder if this version has closed corners or not (if it is identical to the nexus).

The fan in that picture looks exactly the same as the Yate Loon fan with blue LED's that is found in the Fortron Aurora PSU's. That fan has normal "open" corners. In the picture you can see the green/white ribbon that is used to cover the wire to the LED's. Now I don't speak Norwegian, but I do speak three other Germanic languages and as far as I can decipher that webpage doesn't mention any LED's at all. ???

Well... this is one of four models. The three other got leds. This is the red one:

I guess I'll give it a try! I Don't have any nexus 120mm, but if this is 22,8 dBA at the same CFM (37), I guess it'll be a nice replacement instead of the more expensive Nexus fan!

That looks more like a coolermaster to me than a YL.

The blade design on that fan is definitely different from the regular orange Nexus. In any case I would imagine that fan would be pretty quiet though if it does in fact spin that slowly.

Keep in mind that Nexus, Acoustifan, and many other "brands" do not actually manufacturer fans, so any company can got to the original manufacturer and have a fan made for them (custom colors, LEDs, badging, etc), even if that fan is basically the same as made for another company.

Well, if you read my first post in this thread again, then you could see I didn't compare it to the "regular" Yate Loon/Nexus fans, but to a completely different LED fan that happens to be made by Yate Loon too. Of which the medium speed version was sort of tested in the Fortron Aurora PSU review. That medium speed fan sounds very smooth. It's just the fancontroller in the PSU that spins it up too fast.

I hope I don't need to disassemble my PSU and take pictures before people believe me.

Edit:
MikeC that for me:

Yes but the hole molds and the blade design on that aurora fan is identical to the Nexus/YL orange ones.

The Mist fan holes & blades look more like the coolermaster fans IMO. OTOH, the hub struts are YL type (and that's an unusual setup) so.... ???
