Found: Panaflo 80/92mm BX fans in Australia

To my fellow Aussies,

I'd not seen them available elsewhere in Australia before now, so I just thought I'd share this source. Please add any others that you know of.

If you're not familiar why (I think) this is of interest, the BX series Panaflos are the ones that allow RPM monitoring. The SPCR reference fan, the Panaflo L1A series, does not allow tacho measurements.

PCCaseGear has the goods.

Panaflo 80mm fan, Medium Speed with RPM, FBA08A12M1BX
Panaflo 92mm fan, Low Speed with RPM, FBA09A12L1BX
Panaflo 92mm fan, High Speed with RPM, FBA09A12H1BX

forget about Panaflos! order some real Nexus stuff at www.endpcnoise.com
i got 4 120mm Nexus for A$108, that's $27.00 each, delivered in 8 days! there's no aussie retailer to compete with that atm.

Would love to find the Panaflo 80x15mm fan (#FBA08T12L) in Australia, or the Sanyo Denki for that matter... PCCaseGear only has the 80x25mm.

Be grateful to hear of any sources... :)

i can't bring myself to spend so much on fans, the only ones i would seriously consider are the arctic cooling pwm(15.90) or the scythe slipstream(19.00).

it's especially hard when i can get this glacialtech 120mm hydrobearing (SilentBlade GT1225HBDL) fan for $7.58 at ozdirect.
and that in this review http://www.digit-life.com/articles2/cpu ... page4.html - it beat, among others, the scythe minebea and s-flex - in terms of efficiency /noise.
their test methodology looks good too.

ebay is your friend for Nexus fans.

I got 2 x 120mm, 1 x 92 and 1 x 80mm for AU$71 shipped from UK. $40 cheaper than getting it locally. If anyones interested I can give you the username of the guy I bought it from.
