Any CHEAP-QUIET-BLACK 120mm fans out there?
Hi all This is my first post but I lurk a lot. I was turned on to the 120mm NEXUS reading here a year back or so. Anyway I'm building another water cooled BOX with a triple rad up top in Li Lian black tower and need 3 120mm fans black. CFM does'nt matter so much since there is three but silence is essential. I would get the NEXUS again but Black case and Orange fans is so halloween looking.
Very cool I get to post my find without making a new topic.
Just an hour ago I searched for Nexus 120 on google and the first page brought up Nexus' product page, and their "new fan"
Heres the page:

Yep, that’s much better than orange, otherwise it’s the same fan spec as before. Maybe black/white will find favour with Zebo? I guess Nexus now order in sufficient numbers from Yate Loon to qualify for a custom colour.
I see the revised Breeze 500 comes with a version that is variable from 1000rpm to 1650 rpm.

I just tested the Cooler master ultra silent fan (720rpm) and it's really quiet.
Some bearing noice only but i had the fan at less than an arms length from my ear and outside the case so it may not be an issue. It doesn't move much air at all. But compared to a Nexus at 5V it'll do the same job. Got it in a store in Gothenburg/Sweden for 129SEK
It'll probably join my other fans in my drawer since i have no immediate need for changing fans. Just wanted to have a listen. I can recommend it if you have little need for moving lots of air and have the possibility to run it at 12V. It won't make any noise.

black yate loon d12sl-12's are available here - I don't think they have speed sensors, $5.50 each.

I would like to know if you are planning to sell to the public the black & white 120mm Real Silent case fan as seen in the new Nexus Breeze 500!
Thanks.
