Good luck
$1.29 for a set of four at Jab-tech http://jab-tech.com/Noise-dampening-c-209.htmlBories36 wrote: 7 bucks for an isolator, wow.
I'm still using the original two sets of Antec silicon fan "screws" that came with my two-year old Sonata. I've replaced the exhaust fan twice, and the intake fan has been replaced and dismounted/remounted several times. It is a bit of a pain to poke the barbs on these screws through the holes when removing, but I haven't had one break yet. And they seem to do a fine job of isolating fan vibration.does any one know if the fan vibration dampers that antec make are any good ?
I'll answer my own question since I've got the answer now after trying it.Stereodude wrote:Do the silicon isolator posts/bolts work when used in conjuction with the rubber/silicon gaskets?
Like these?
Yes, but I'm not using the original Antec Trio fans anymore, so it's really hard to say what part the gasket / dampening posts made vs. the Noctua fans.PopCorn wrote:did it make it any quieter?
