Hi all,
I have the newer stock AMD cooler with the heatpipes design. It comes with a very noisy Delta fan that spins at 5200rpm, but is very noisy (48.8 dba at load and 42 dba at idle!). Any recommendations for a quieter fan? I would like a nice balance between quiet and performance.

Hello,
I'd say just about any of the recommended 80mm fans, or the Enermax Enlobal, or the Global WIN NCB, would work? Does it need to have a 3-pin plug?

Enermax Warp are definitely cheaper than other fans geared towards the PC market. I have two on the back of my box, they are pretty smooth but become noticeable over 5V. The Scythe 80mm seems to be a great fan, but I could have two Warps for the price of one Scythe...
