Hi all. Just built a new systems with the GA-M57SLI-S4 motherboard. I am using the latest version of speedfan, but it reports very strange numbers for the fans and cannot control them.
I had fan control enabled in the BIOS, and Speedfan reported speeds of 5000RPM, 10000RPM etc. for fans which are actually blowing at around 750-1000RPM. I switched fan control off in the BIOS, and now speeds shown are in the 100,000RPM range! It cannot control them either.
Any ideas if there are any programs which can control the fans on this board?
