Here we see Yate Loon 120x25mm fans for $3.50 plus shipping. There's a bulk discount for 3-9 for $3.00 each plus shipping. For me, it turns out to be about $15 for 3 fans.

I've always sort of needed more fans. Right now my Antec 3000B just has the "Tri-Cool" 120x25mm fan that came with it, on 5v. The case is a bit warm, and summer's coming, so more ventilation is necessary.

I understand Yate Loon has a good rep; is this fan "the one to get?" It looks like a good deal. Any alternatives (also inexpensive)?

Its default is 1350rpm; I might leave it there or 7v them, but I probably won't 5v them.

Any opinions? Testimonials? Thanks!

I just bought from these people yesterday (except i got the orange ones) and then arrived today. Haven't plugged them in yet, but the general consenus seems to be that they are just as good the $16 nexus ones.

Dunno about comparisons to any other ones, but I have bought about 10 of the Black-Black Yate Loons so far and they rock. I use them in cases and power supplies, and am going to work on mounting one on my Zalman 7700.

Buy 'em!

Buy a bunch, sort them for the best sounding ones, and don't look back. I bought 10 a while back when they we selling them for 2.50 a piece. Every bit as good as the nexus....
