Lots of online sites offer D14SL-12 fans for sale. Then you look at the specs: 1400RPM, 29dBA... which of course are the specs for the D14SM-12. Do a google search and you find PCToys, which does the same stuff but even admits the fan is the "M" among the specs.
But wait! My latest google revealed what may be a real, honest D14SL-12! Does anybody know anything about this? I was becoming convinced the "L" model didn't exist...
An honest-injun Yate Loon D14SL-12? Really?

Did you notice that they claim lower noise from the Ball Bearing 120mm fan than they do from the sleeve version? Sure the RPM and CFM are lower but not by the same percentage as the dB.

Yep, a real, honest SL! Mine just walked in the door. This fan shows up in Petra's Oct '07 "New Products", so they haven't been selling it very long.Felger Carbon wrote:My latest google revealed what may be a real, honest D14SL-12!
