Fan controllers that can STOP the fan?

Post by bumthology » Wed Apr 16, 2008 10:46 pm

Sorry if this topic has been posted before. But I looked at some of the specs on the website i usually buy at and it usually doesnt state if the fan controller can stop the actual fan. Does anyone know which ones do?

Oh.. and damn those yate loon fan blades are sharp! it cut my skin. lol

The Sunbeam Rheobus for one goes all the way from 0 to 12V. That's just the only one I have experience of. I think most drive bay fan controllers will do what you're after.

I seem to remember all of the T-balancer models and variants will go to 0 volts.

You can set a fan to turn on once a specific temperature is reached so you don`t have to worry about overheating with t-balancer. ... cts_id=132

Expensive, I know, but the funcionality you get is uncomparable.

edit: pimp daddy beat me to it!

You might also consider the MiniNG fan controller.......cheaper than a T-Balancer with most of the important features. Review
