Hi guys!
I am about to upgrade my case to Antec Three Hundred and try find a replacement fan for the not-so -silent Antec's TriCool 140mm.
One of the serious contenders is Noiseblocker's BlackSilent XK1 140mm
Here are its specs:

Has anyone used it? I have looked long and hard and still couldn't find any info : /
A popular option is Scythe's Kaze Maru 500rpm, but I haven't got much trust in my DIY mounting skills ; ) Is it difficult?
I'd really like to hear your opinions on this.
Thanks a lot!

According to SPCR, the NoiseBlocker blue/black fans rival Nexus fans in noise quality. I have one of their higher priced smoke/black fans, and it's the quietest I've ever used next to the Scythe Gentle Typhoon. I would expect the same from their 140mm fans.

That's the point - most reviews praises BlackSilent 120mm fans, but no one really mentions the 140mm ones.
I too suspect they can be good, but there's nothing like first hand experience,, right? : )
Still hoping for your input guys!

Yate Loon also do a 1,000rpm 140mm fan, if you can find it, which is supposed to be pretty good. (It's a sleeve bearing, which is less than ideal for horizontal mounting though).

1000 rpm 140mm YL sleeve bearing @7v is practically inaudiable and vibration free in my Antec Three Hundred. If you can get it, its good choice.

Thanks a lot, you've been very helpful : ) I'll most probably go for Yate Loon. Luckily, it's availible in Poland!
Thanks again : )
