This isn't the fan used in the new noctua's cooler NH-D14?

They are also remaking their coolers to fit this fan, specially the NH-C12P SE14:

Looks like a larger variant of the P12, which is fine and all, but I'm really hanging out for a 140mm variant of the S12.

Wondering if the new 140mm fan will fit on a Noctua NH-U12P cooler??

If so maybe I could only use 1 140mm fan instead of 2 NF P12 fans with my Core i7 set up.

I wonder if one of these could be used to replace the stock fan in the CNPS9900? I know the cooler's got a weird fan mount, but I'm sure there's some way a different one could be put in.

I would be interested to see if one of these could be used in a CNPS9900.

I have considered changing the fan for something else, as am happy with the look and fit of the actual cooler itself.

It's hard to change that cooler's fan, and this one will surely be to big anyway. You'll definitely need something slimmer.

It can be done, there are details on Zalman's site for "replacing a broken fan" for the cooler, but it would need a 120mm fan.

I found this post by googling "replace cnps9900 fan", but I agree, it would need a different sized fan.

It was the "look" of this fan without the usual square border that made me think it might fit. But even if it was a 120mm version of the fan, some dismantling would still need to be done, as it would need "no frame"

hmmmmm :?: will have to have a think!!
