fan static pressure, back pressure, etc -measured & defined?

The terms like static pressure, back pressure, mm H2O, Pa.

Is there a good webpage to explain these... and how they relate to real world experience.

I gather that higher numbers mean more, but what do they mean. ie, can a number be a benchmark, like being able to pull air through a x" thick filter? something that can be grasped and extrapolated from. And do the number rise arithmetically, or log...

Generally, what is the mm H2O of a common basic 120mm fan?
