Fan replacement help AF vs SP

Hi guys,
I got a Corsair carbide 400Q case. It comes with a front AF 140mm fan and back 120mm SP fan.
I want to install a second intake fan. To help cool the GPU, Should I?

Should the second bottom intake fan be static?
Also should I replace the top AF fan with a static pressure fan for maximum silence?

Here is a picture of my case, I am waiting to receive a Zotac GTX 1070 AMP Extreme, this thing will extend all the way to front, just an inch or two from the front fans.

The motherboard is MSI B85M-G43, It has 3x PWM headers, SVG-Tech Heatsink with CM Silencio 120mm fan.

Thanks!

On the 600Q tested by SPCR the third fan proved to be of little or no importance: it helped to lower a bit the GPU temperature, albeit thus it didn't leaded to a lower overall noise.
I guess it's somehow reasonable to expect a similar effect in the smaller 400, although YMMV.

Please note that a fan cannot be (or be called) "static": it's an imprecise terminology.

At any rate, an higher static pressure has little or no to do with lower noise: on the contrary, often high performance (which means high pressure) fans are noisier than others.
So IMO no, it doesn't have to be an high pressure one.

I dont like any Corsair fans, there are much better options out there if you care about how quiet your setup ends up.

What motherboard do you own and how do you plan on controlling the fans?

@quest_for_silence, thanks for the welcome. Been lurking here for a while. Its finally build time.

I have a MSI B85M-G43, it has 3x PWM fan headers. I will probably buy a Y-Slitter for front 2 fans.
I am planning to buy a Noctua NH-D15S, because this fits my motherboard, the other coolers will cover the PCI-e
I won't be using a second fan on the heatsink.

Currently I have cooler master silencio on the old heatsink, this I will change to back.
I might buy 1x Noctual NF14-ALX for silent intake, and 1 more of these if GPU needs cooling.

What do you think of the setup?

Thanks!
