I looked at Speedfan and tried to control case fans with it for my P4P800, but alas I can only vary the speed of the CPU fan. There's a Winbond controller on the board (W83791D) that isn't supported by Speedfan, and I was hoping to find a Winbond Hardware Doctor build that will work with the P4P800 and allow fan speed control.
Anyone have ideas, or should I just look at getting a fanbus controller?
P4P800, Winbond Hardware Doctor available?

That's weird, the fan controllers on my P4P800-D are "W83627THF". Do you have those sensors on your board?shadestalker wrote: There's a Winbond controller on the board (W83791D)

Yes, I have that one also, and Speedfan can see fan rpm through that but it can't control them. The W83791D is listed by Speedfan and it says "please report" so it doesn't fully support this chip. The W83791D is listed by Winbond as a fan speed sensor and controller, among other things, so I was hoping for a solution to the current inability to control fan rpm via the motherboard.
