this is a princip/sheme from my modifyed pow supl. - you can see - the tranzistors are bringin out from the psu's case, and conected vith 6 metal plates, for cooling. - this system im runing now, from 3 days before. - all works good, - especialy - it is a very cheap solution:)

Very good idea. I'm a little concern about the electrical shock and the line noise/voltage variation. Have you taken a reading the before and after voltage? Have any pics?
