Overall best case
I know when someone asks "what is the best case?" it entales two things:
1) immediate personal preference
2) delayed intellectual questionaire concerning what best means to the first
WHen I say best, I'm talking of sleek, elegant design; a bezel (preferably of some metal and not plastic); reletive case silence (low-noise 80mm or 120mm stock fans, solidly built, etc.); ATX prefered, tower optional.
I was looking at the Wave Master but due to some....let's just say uninspiring reviews on the front intake, I am loath to purchase now. I've checked out the standard brands on newegg but nothing compares to the elegance of the wavemaster *sigh* and unless I want to spend $200 on a Lian-Li (which I won't), I'm stuck.
I know many people here visit international sites that sell cases newegg or a google search would never show up. Wondering if anyone has any recommendation for a elegant, "doored", solid case.

Your idea of "sleek, elegant design" is yours alone, we can't make that decision for you. All you can do is look at the both the SPCR "Recommended Cases" and the SPCR case reviews themselves and see which, if any, flip your switch.
In the meantime, forget about the Wavemaster, or it's cousin, the Silverstone SS-TJ05. Both have quite poor airflow and would not make a good case to use for building a quiet PC.

It's not just you. I'm interested in seeing the "desk" too, but the link is bad.oceancyc wrote:Is it just me or does your link link right back to this same topic?sthayashi wrote:How about a desk? To my eye, it's the perfect mix of functionality and style.
That's what happens when you don't pay attention to which browser window you copy and paste from.... I fixed the link, but here it is again for the truly lazy
