well i think it's the little jobby on the right. Still, its kinda cool looking. I like it.
now if it will only NOT snap off your chip socket when you transport your case, thatd be a miracle.

That's got to be a prop; no case I know of can fit that, and if it's pure copper that thing must weigh in the vicinity of ~3-4kg.

Is that a 92 or 120 mm fan? Looks like 92 to me, or is it because of the big one next to it, making it look small? Anyway, better for ducting than both 7x00 and 8000. Very interesting.

and what an awesome prop it is!

i wonder why they didn't use 2 slow-spinning blower-style fans though, like the old silverado a good few years ago. although the more i think about it, a single radial fan should also work, drawing in air from the front and sides of the front, and through the middle, and through the fins at the back.

but back to what's important... that prop! i think it'd make a good paperweight

or maybe u could keep it in the kitchen and plonk it on one of your stovetops when you're finished cooking, to help it cool down faster and reduce the chance you'll burn yourself while cleaning up.

Haha guys, that cooler is a model, not the actual cooler. Here is the real size cooler attached to a mobo. It is said to weigh 250g less then 7700 like thunder already said...

Oh, and if its said to be 250G lighter than the 7700Cu i cant see how it can outperform it, it almost certainly has a smaller area to dissipate the heat if its that much lighter.. Have to wait for a review i guess..

Well if it really is a better performer then it's because of the heatpipes of course.

I mean, imagine the fanless TNN 500 case without heatpipes, it wouldn't work even with some extra kg. The heatpipes does the big difference. And BTW this is a much better implementation of heatpipes than the 7000 with heatpipses they showed earlier.

Pity the blades on the fan in Bluefront's pic aren't on the real thing.
Blades like that are used in some Air Conditioning units and can move a lot of air (comparitively ) quietly.

Maybe 'The Prop(ellor ?

)', as it has been dubbed here, is a full size prototype for Dual Core Preshotts...

they say it outperforms some internal watercooling systems too! simply amazing. (and i believe them, their design is ingenious)

i wonder what the thought process at zalman was in the design phase for this cooler...
