silent UPS?

Hi,

Can someone recomend some silent UPS?

Any advice will be greately appreciated.

If you do not need much capacity Powerware has some quiet low-end UPS's. I do not know about the new 3105 but the lowest capacity model of 5115 line is fanless (I have a couple of them supplying small servers) and it has relatively good power filtering and excellent control software. Not too expensive either.

My 1100W APC UPS is quite silent under my desk, unless it's running on the battery backup. I love it; if you can find them where you are I'd check APC out.

My APCC Back-Ups RS 800 is silent unless the power goes out.

i can't tell if my tripp-lite ups is on or not, unless i look at the LED's.
