seasonic s12 500 or enermax noisetaker 495

Post by tomati » Sun Jul 03, 2005 11:12 pm

Hi ,

I can't choose between these two power supply , s12 for the high quality (best power restitution) or enermax for his good price/quality

I can buy the enermax for ~100€ and the s12 for ~130€ so wich one should I choose? Is the s12 worth the 30€ extra ?

actually , I use the zalman 400w with my venice and the 12v rail is at 11.52v ( molex mesure) and I didn't put already my 9800 pro in ( just test the rig with an 9100 and 1 hdd) so I suspect that it will be too short for the 9800 pro and 3 hdd,

first quality is stability and secondly the noise .

thanks for your advice.

Both of these power supplies see recommendations on this forum from time to time. The Seasonic may be slightly quieter than the Enermax, especially if you have a high-power system. However, if silence isn't your first priority, it may not be worth the extra money. I think you'll be happy with the Enermax; you probably don't need to spend the extra 30€.

Oh, and Welcome to SPCR!!!!!!!!
