I will be rebuilding my old pc soon and i i will be getting a pvr card. I need to know if media centre has everything normal windows xp has?

I've been running it for a while (MCE 2004, MCE 2005) and during the install, you use two CDs - one that is XP and then one that is the Media Center components. My guess is yes.

Yep it all works the same as windows xp home as far as I can tell, one ramdom hit though - plug in the remote sensor before you install it, I had a hard time getting it working once
