Who's Been Folding The Longest

Post by unregistered » Sun Jul 17, 2005 4:11 pm

I can look at the # of WU's completed compared to the points and get a pretty good indication of how long you have been folding. Back when a tinker was only worth 71 points  it was a tough way to score points.

I started ~ Oct. 28 2003, there are a lot of people ahead of me that have been there since day one and a few that I have passed.

I think it would be interesting to establish a "Folding Longevity Crown" and to see how long people have been folding.

So post an approximate date, if you got me beat. Post a date even if you don't. After all the most important stat is the one that says you are still folding.

Prize for the winner!!!!!!! *

For me it was 13th December 2003. (I know this cause I made a note of it..... )

For information: According to this post Team SPCR started March 2003.

I think duckla2000 started around the same time as Neil. (Old Timers... )

71 point Tinkers Eh?... Those were the days...

Mind you I've got a 44 point p747_vln-pf-wtr-cnf at the moment giving me bad PPW... :(

I was one of the first on the team and I was first place for quite awhile until TRC-13 came along ;). BUt I took a hiatus for awhile after FAH theoreticlly killed one of our servers. At least it was blamed. I'm back in it again now. I will be slowly crawling back from 31st place :)

BTW I fold as mjrusso45

BTW2 I switched to the SPCR team on Jan 16 2003

March 2004.. certainly not as active on the forum as I use to be, but proud to still have 4 machines folding away for the team. My #16 spot just keeps loosing ground as my 292648 points mean less and less. But I'm glad I can still contribute.

peteamer old friend, mighty glad to see you still around stirring things up. My goodness we had fun!

FWIW, I think all of the liquid ninja sigs work now... They opened them back up to everyone...

Dave

EDIT -- but I see my Team SPCR logo's don't work anymore... boy, it's been a long time since I've stopped by this forum...

EDIT - well, my liquid ninja sig was working, until I edited my profile to remove the non-working SPCR images, now my liquid ninja sig is broken. I guess I shouldn't have messed with it...

Yup, editing the profile kills the liquid ninja sig, since the forum software upgrade in December 2004. IIRC there were security issues with linking images from the sig (maliciously crafted ones, not liquid ninja stats...). Sorry for taking this thread off-topic

Just to get on-topic again: I started in December 2004, so I shouldn't be posting here at all. I'll shut up now...
