I'm in the US, do you know what online vendor has these? I would like to use it in a SLK3000B case.
Thanks!
Guillaume

Thx - that does not seem to be the exact same one though, as far as CFM and dB go...strange

Expect to add on the order of $25 for shipping to USA.

BTW, I donated one of the GLL's and one of the GLLL's to SPCR for future testing. I was buying a fans to replace a noisy chinese fan in a thermoelectric cooler (peltier effect mini-fridge), and thought I might as well throw in the others to donate.

CraiginNJ that's cool you did that, I'm curious to see how those fans compete. I love them myself. I just ordered some 4412 F/2GLLL's the other day. 35cfm, 14dba. We'll see....

To make it worth the shipping you probably have to buy 3 fans honestly.

You can get the GLL from Silencio. His price is cheaper and shipping is much lower than the 25€ silentpc.de is asking for. He'll probably even throw in an SPCR discount.

What's the difference between a 4412 F/2GLL and a 4412 F/2GLLE?

Hi Frank,

the "E" means extended temperature range. So in this case, the GLL and GLLE have been measured an equal lifespan. The difference is, that the GLL is measured at 75C and the GLLE at 85C.

If that's the case then the link to the 4412 F/2GLLE at quietpc posted above should have the same specs as the non E version ie 41 cfm and 18db. I'm pretty sure they have not listed the correct specs.

They also have the dustproof for $30.

From the manufacture

FYI in correspondence with an EBM Papst rep here in the U.S., I received this in an E-mail dated 2005-May-24:

"I have just received this information from my factory. The 4412 F/2GLL has no agency approvals. The fan foot print is standard, but the electronics for the motor make this new in the 119mm size series. Plans are in the works for approvals, but are 3-6 months away. Same goes for both the -508 and -515 extensions (Models)."

He is talking about safety approvals like UL / CSA. He also sent me the data sheets. For a time you can download them here:

So there's no-where in the US to get this fan? That's lame.

I mean... 2 fans from Germany + shipping... that's over $75!!! I might as well go water cooled.

Where did you look for the price?

Silencio has them for ~22$ per fan + shipping 5,60$ or 10,50$ (airmail). So that would make either

22 + 22 + 5,60 = 49,60$
OR
22 + 22+ 10,50 = 54,50$

A bit cheaper.

EDIT: And that doesn't have the SPCR discount counted for...
