You can add the bling on afterwards, what you should be asking is whats the quietest "transparent 80mm fan". There have been an awful lot of "transparent" fans that ae louder that their "opaque" brethren, thats where you should concentrate.

Anyway the LED's in the fan are drawn from the same power source so a fan run a 5v will be very very dim (ive tried it).

If you dont want ABSOLUTE DEAD SILENCE I really recommend Antecs 80mm Tricools. I picked up two of them at CompUSA for $10 each. They are more expensive than I like, but I knew Antec wouldnt let me down...and they didnt. I replaced the 2600RPM screecher in my parents case with one of them. It pushes more air than the screecher did and its set on low! I cant hear it right now, but it is sitting quite far - about 7 feet - from my head. Good enough for me. Also, the LEDs are still plenty bright (even though u cant see it in my parents case). Good luck to ya

Hummm.....I find it extremely difficult to believe an Antec 80mm set on low speed, blows more air than any other 80mm fan at 2600rpms.

Oh.....Antec has let me down plenty of times. :x

There are some Evercool aluminum frame fans with lites, that look nice. I have a 120mm version that is not bad at all.

its not for my computer, its for someone who has that akasa seethrough case, it has so many 80mm holes on it and looks silly with nothing in them and lets through lots of bugs and dust,
the fans that they have already are http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showprodu ... =FG-005-AK
but they are pretty noisey with the speed on lowest

personally id recomend the antec tri-cools, I have one set on low, I think it spins @ around 1500rpm, pretty quiet, not gonna be a silent solution, like a nexus on 7v, but still, has the bling and is actually decent.
