The XFX 7950GT?

Post by where?wolf » Sat Mar 17, 2007 1:17 pm

Hi all!

I'm helping a friend to upgrade his videocard.

He is very interested in a XFX 7950GT passive.

Just a couple of questions.

1. In a P180 case with 3 fans ( 2 exhaust ) and one on a Noctua heatsink). The Noctua fans at 900RPM.

2. What would the case temps be like with this card, in such a case?
Will the case temp raise much?

What is an average, XFX 7950GT gpu temp, load in this kind of case?

Anyone who can give me a hint?

all i can say is that, you might want to remove the front upper hd bay. Then install a 120mm fan there, and it will blow directly on the XFX

Thanks for the ansver.

But that would pretty much take away the whole idea with a passive videocard. Even if the fan is considered silent. Would'nt it?
