The funny thing is, in french, saying "I am green" is a way to express one's disappointment.

For example, one would say : "My rank in the spcr F@H team used to be 42, and now it's 50, I am green !".

Je suis vert! Je suis vert! J'adore mon vie.

Okay, that's total brutal french. My apologies to the French. Please continue to let me into your country.

I finally managed to go yellow again. Still have one PC in the crapper and another still out of commission. That one is toast from flood damage. It died while folding. :Salutes:

I no see you :? Stats Page. (or on page 2).

Are you using a different user name than POLIST8 to fold?

OffTopic: Have you guys noticed that Silicon Acoustics is folding for our team? Now that's a committed sponsor. (No, I don't work for them or have any connection to them.)

Ah, I see, you mean you're white in a demographic sense then? Or something else?

I'm skinny, white, and 18. But I'll probably dye my skin orange with tanning lotion to celebrate :)

I'm going off for the weekend and one of my folding nodes is down :( It for some strange reason decided it couldn't connect to the internet (but still can to the networK) and unless it fixes itself thats out 4 gigaflops for the weekend :(

I'm unable to fix my node! It connects to the network, but it can't get online.... I'm puzzled by this one. My first instinct would be to blame the switch except the other two comps on the switch work fine...... I've never had a problem like this before :(

On a friend's Win98 machine, we faced this exact problem. I replaced the NIC -- and it was fixed!

Previously, I had tried reinstalling the TCP/IP protocol, the driver for the old NIC -- and the old NIC would work through the DSL modem IF it was plugged into one of the standard ports, but if it was plugged into the WAN port (through the hardware firewall) then the only solution was to replace the NIC.

Thanks for that Neil, I'll try it; we've got about 6 billion NICs at work here, swapping one would be no problem.
