Gigabyte Volar GH-PSU21-FB CPU HSF

Came across this new Gigabyte CPU HSF in a magazine. Product page :
http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/Air ... Name=Volar

The main feature is the omni-directional 120mm fan, that can be angled to blow at the chipsets or mosfets areas. The local (i.e. Hong Kong) magazine gave it 4.5 / 5 for heat dissipation and 5 /5 for silence. I wouldn't trust their standards of quietness but the design does look intriguing.

Cute puppy. For folks afraid their VRMs or whatever they're called are gonna melt down. The 120mm fan turns 2000RPM at 23dBA which is not just good but utterly miraculous, as in angels blowing trumpets! :D

1500rpms is not silent. hell, 1000 is loud in my books, and thats with a high quality fan. 800 rpms I can barely tolerate. ;)
