Mini Ninja height

I was wondering if anyone could measure their mini ninja for me.

If possible, could someone measure it from the flat surface of the motherboard to the topmost point on the mini ninja.

I realise it is 115mm tall, but i need to know how tall it is one actually mounted, as i have very little room for it, and even a fewmm more might be too much.

Hi there Namheul, mine measures just a tiny bit over 116mm, maybe 116.1mm, from the flat surface of the mobo to the highest point of the mini ninja. You can see it here: viewtopic.php?t=43893&highlight=potsy

Does anyone know if the AM2 CPU socket is taller/shorter than the Intel one? Also, do different motherboards have different height sockets?

I think i have about 117mm max, so i doubt the mini ninja will fit unfortunately

I measure 118mm from PCB to top of heatpipe ends on a Biostar TF7050-M2. As discussed previously (can't find the thread now) on SPCR the "bolts" on top of the heatpipes on the Ninja and the Minja is purely cosmetic and can be removed with a varyiyng degree of violence. This will give you a few more millimeters of clearance.

Just ordered a Ninja Mini and 2 120mm fans for my case.
