I need a quiet, cheap case with a closing front door (to keep out a baby's curious fingers). Just a nice mid-tower will do, doesn't have to have a ton of bays. Don't need a PSU, nor do I care too much about how it looks. Any suggestions please? Thanks!
Joe

Does the door have to lock? and does the power and reset button have to behind the door? ( personal experience with toddlers yields a definite yes to both)
THis one "CaseTek (Black) Super ATX Tower case, Model CK-1018-1A " meets both criteria its availble at new egg for 40 bucks its also one of the cheapest cases with a door period.
This ones pretty similar "CaseTek Super ATX Tower case, Model CK-1019-2B "
or "Bow Technology Tool less Server Tower Case Model S-6000 "

Thanks guys. Yes, I do believe that the power & reset needs to be behind the door. As soon as he realizes that pushing a button results in a reset beep, he'll do that all day long. (Ex: he likes to flush the toilet any chance he gets).
Any experience on how the CaseTek's are in terms of quietness and airflow? My current case (a very old Antec) almost amplifies my HDD noise.
I read good feedback about the Antec cases (like the SLK3700), but I can't find it w/o a PSU. Any US websites that sell it w/o PSU?
Thanks, Joe

The Antec SX-1000II case doesn't come with a PSU. You can get it for $66 shipped at AccuPC.

Directron sells it without a PSU (make the choice from the drop-down menu) for $45 + shipping. You could also just buy it with the PSU and sell the PSU on ebay or one of the forums for $30-40.jlee1060 wrote:
