Looks pretty good, if you have steel innards in your case. If you're aluminum, you'll have to get creative.

Interesting idea. But I would think that most SPCR'ers don't use run fans to levels where vibration are a concern. And since steel cases (especially P18X) are dampened by nature it's utility are even more suspect.

I'm not convinced. I had some silicon frames almost exactly like this one, except they didn't go all the way around the fan and as far as I remember they didn't do much to reduce vibrations.

If you want to reduce vibrations soft mounting is the only way.
