In summary, on a i7 920 at 3.2Ghz, the DH-14 in either dual or single fan configurations beats out a NH-U12P with a single NH-P12 fan and a Megahalems with a single NH-P12 fan at 5v/7v/9v/12v.

The weights are getting really silly. That's almost 1.5 kg (3.30 lb)

It can't be that one would need to hang a 1.5 kg metal mass on a filigrane motherboard just to cool a CPU.

Engineers should come up with new cooling technologies.

Finally something consistently bests the reigning champ IFX-14 at all tested flow speed in the Xbitlabs test:

It is huge and heavy, but seems like a solid cooler, regardless of the fans / speed used.
