You're better off, by far, with an Athlon XP than a Celeron. Same prices, too.
The advice regarding Celeron is easy to understand: don't go there.
Looking for quiet CPU

What does a good P4 mobo cost?
Hello:
How much does a good P4 mobo cost? And what RAM would you use?bob670 wrote:Nothing wrong with Celeron's for lots of uses, my only gripe with AMD chips is that I have to cough up extra $$$$ for an nForce mobo to avoid VIA garbage, and either choice for AMD leaves me searching for very specific memory.
