Great to hear that the 460 drivers are so easy to upgrade. ATI could learn a lesson there.
Considering how often new graphics card drivers get released, I'm much more inclined towards the 460 than the 5850 now.
If I'm ever in the position to be able to afford 3 LCD monitors (I haven't brought 1 yet, well I did but returned it as it was rubbish!), I'll probably be able to buy a new graphics card as well, so eyefinity doesn't hold much attraction for me at present. All I need from a card is the ability to play games at high settings at 1920x1080, low enough power draw to suit my Nexus Value 430W and the ability to run quietly (with mods if necessary).
GTX 460 launched today

Gelid have released Rev 2 of their Icy Vision graphics card cooler (September 30 2010). It now supports both the GTX 460 and the GTS 450 see http://www.gelidsolutions.com/products/ ... d=17&id=52.faugusztin wrote:It has one very serious flaw - zero compatibility with aftermarket coolers. Looking at the picture, you can see that holes are not in square. but are positioned in rectangle (one side is longer than the other). So unless you are lucky with your choice of stock cooler, then you will have hard time silencing it - at least for some time.
Do you guys think this Icy Vision or the MK-13 would be able to handle the GTX 460 passive (with average case airflow)?lodestar wrote:Gelid have released Rev 2 of their Icy Vision graphics card cooler (September 30 2010).
