Does the vibration from the PSU fan transfer to the case?

Does the vibration from the PSU fan transfer to the case?

I'm going to use a Seasonic X-650 PSU on an Antec P183 case. When the PSU fan starts speeding up, will the vibration of the PSU create noise? I installed the PSU with regular screws, and I notice that the PSU is actually not touching the soft tape under it. It's kind of floating on it because the screws in the back lift it a little due to the pressure.

Maybe on a cheapie, lightweight aluminum case.

On the P183 you should be fine. If not, you can cut little hunks of foam to use as gasket material between the case and PSU at the screwpoints. You could also buy a silicone PSU gasket, but it's a waste of money, IMO.
