All new to cooling looking for advice

Post by Source » Tue Mar 12, 2019 1:48 am

Hey everybody. I'm having a bit of a cooling problem. I'm currently looking for a new cooler, but i dont have much experience with this. Im concidering to buy a 230V Sunon 44db Cooler from a danish website called https://www.avxperten.dk/ . Is it any good? Should i buy something else? All advise is welcomed with open arms.

Don't know why you'd need a fan that requires mains power to cool your CPU...could you describe your problem in detail? Case, components, existing cooler, etc...

Without a description of the PC and it's components, as well as the operating conditions (idle and load temps, etc) it would be difficult to diagnose why it's overheating.

One obvious thing: has it ever been cleaned? Perhaps dust/pet fur/etc has clogged the input fan (filters) as well as the CPU cooler/fan.

Another possible issue is the heatsink contact with the CPU is not optimal?
