The V series are 5400 RPM drives, while the P series are 7200 RPM.
The SP1614C is a P80 series drive.

Is there any major performance difference between the 2MB cache and the 8MB cache model? I ask because the 8MB model isn't easy to find in Canada.
If anyone knows a good online vendor that carries the P80 family in Canada (and more specifically, the 8MB cache versions) please let me know.
