http://www.samsung.com/Products/HardDiskDrive/index.htm

The V series are 5400 RPM drives, while the P series are 7200 RPM.

The SP1614C is a P80 series drive.

Cool thanks...

Pretty obvious  should have checked it myself.

Is there any major performance difference between the 2MB cache and the 8MB cache model? I ask because the 8MB model isn't easy to find in Canada.

If anyone knows a good online vendor that carries the P80 family in Canada (and more specifically, the 8MB cache versions) please let me know.
