Evercool EC12025M12C ??
I found this particular model, at a local store and they are very cheap.
Is this model (Evercool EC12025M12C) the same with the aluminium version? Near the label, on the fan (EC12025M12C), it's saying "Low Noise" ...
The specs for this model are (from the Evercool site):
Voltage
VDC : 12
Current
AMP: 0.34
Input
Watts: 4.08
Fan Speed: 2000
AirFlow CFM: 79.14
Pressure
MMH2O: 2.83
Noise
dBA: <30
It has a 3 pin conector (with RPM).
===
And one other thing: What's a "PWN fan controller" ?

Speaking for myself, I've done a LOT of searching, and I have yet to find any L models for SALE anywhere. It seems to me people around here usually recommend the Evercool fans either as good fans to get when you want the quietest possible HIGH AIRFLOW, or for undervolting.chylld wrote:with the evercool fans u want to get the 'L' speed variant. the 'M' and 'H' are way too loud for the silent pc obsessive amongst us
the problem is, the L version, when undervolted, is still too loud by SPCR standards (in my opinion). also with mine ('H' version - woops), it's started to exhibit a 'whistling' or 'ruffling' noise at the lowest voltage it'll start at (5-7v)
would be better to just stick with known good quiet fans like the papst 4412fgl or the panaflo l1a
