Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom has captured many a gamers heart since its release on May 12th. It seems that people are in agreement that this game has met the high expectations of fans who have been craving more action in the world of Hyrule since the release of Breath of the Wild.

Reportedly Rauru voice has been brought to life in Tears of the Kingdom by Chris Hackney.

Though Hackney’s IMDB page has no credit for Tears of the Kingdom listed, he does appear on the game’s English voice actor credits.

Fans have flocked to twitter to express their support for Hackney’s voice acting with some apparently finding it attractive. People have also compared Rauru’s voice to some of Hackney’s other voice acting, notably Dimitri in Fire Emblem Three Houses.

Who is Rauru?

The character of Rauru was one of the Zonai people and founded the Hyrulian Kingdom, ruling as its first king.

The Demon King Ganondorf, once sealed away by Rauru and a group of sages has escaped and Link will have to use the power of Rauru’s right arm to ensure he is once again sealed away, and this time for good.

Rauru initially appears in the Tears of the Kingdom’s prologue acting as Link’s guide around The Great Sky Island.
