PRE ORDERS for the new Samsung S95C 77-inch QD-OLED TV are now live!

There’s a new QD-OLED TV in town and it looks likely to outperform the S95B in almost every area.

Samsung has inadvertently revealed its new 77-inch QD-OLED TV, the S95C, which will supersede the popular S95B of 2022 – the first QD-OLED TV Samsung produced.

The S95C looks set to focus on gaming performance, equipped with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for reduced screen tearing during movies, TV shows, and gaming. It will also support Dolby Atmos audio and HDR10+/HLG for exceptional audio and visual quality.

One Samsung spokesperson said the following: ““And with a 0.1ms response time and up to 144Hz refresh rate, S95C eliminates ghosting – onscreen blurs when images fade rather than completely disappear 0 and offers calibration and visualization options not found on other televisions”.

Alongside this, Samsung will also release a new, less powerful, S90C series in two initial sizes: 55-inch and 77-inch.

While many of the features are the same as the S95C, the S90C will not feature the same advanced sound system – meaning users will likely want to pair the S90C with a Samsung soundbar.

Samsung’s new S95C could be more than latest LG G3 WOLED TV

It’s been a rollercoaster month for TV technology, with LG launching a slew of new OLED TVs that includes both C3 and G3 variants.

According to the initial leaks, the S95C could be more expensive than LG’s new Gallery-Esq TV – hitting shelves for an eye-watering $4,500.

That not only makes it the most expensive QD-OLED TV on the market but also one of the most expensive 4K TVs in general.

Of course, pricing and availability are still speculative at this early stage.
