WTB: S939 board

I have one here that just died. I need a board to replace it, wondering if anyone has anything. I would prefer a nForce4 board from ASUS. If you have anything please leave a msg!

Thanks a lot guys.

I had a K6 400 before too. My fan periodically dies however the computer did not die. I think it is possible to run fanless if you have any sort of decent headsink. Honestly my heatsink was pretty dinky however it got burning hot to the touch.

Samsung T series?

I've been VERY behind in computer news, and after looking through the forum, there doesn't seem to be any topics on this. Does ANYONE have any idea what a Samsung T series is? Only info I have is its 133GB/platter yet no info on how well it performs and noise signature. I first noticed it when I was...

Heatpipes don't mean everything. The older Thermalright sinks don't have heatpipes and this look exactly like those sinks. However I agree a total ripoff of Arctic Cooling.

Great build overall. I wish I can purpose build a computer now other than working with what I already have.

Anyways... about ur bubble wrap.... I have to express my concerns for static. Its plastic and air, its going to develop static and your computer might be dead from the static shock.

VF 700 fans

Ok, I've tried searching the forums, but nothing much came out of it. Anyways... the fan on the VF I have growls like ther eis no tomorrow. I used to have a Coolermaster sleeve bearing fan blowing at my 9600XT, now I have a VF on a 6600GT. I was wondering if the VF is suppose to growl like this, or ...

I think the window itself isn't all that bad, its usually the fan that comes along with the side panel window. So many windows also have a intake fan(mine... it came with it) which is pretty annoying sound wise, very hard to quiet down and the main source of noise for my computer. The noise that wou...

I see... I shall have to pay close attention to the fan. Its the loudest thing on the machine since its the fastest spinning thing short of the hard drive. I think being hung in mid air and being not stably mounted also affects it.

The one I got to play around with was also AGP and by Sapphire. I didn't get any instablities due to temperature and I overclocked to 460/256. It was a little weaker than I expected and yes, the sink is tiny. My 9600XT is like... nothing.... the heatsink is just a piece of metal, no fins. Its also a...

Sleeve bearing fans blowing upwards

I've remember it being discussed that it shortens the life of the bearing, but how bad is it? I have CoolerMaster SUF that has been blowing up for around 7 mnths, and I realized it has started to click audibly when I have my side panel off. I'm wondering if it will fail as it cools my video card and...

Anyone have any idea how much power this card draws. I got a test mule from a friend and its getting A LOT hotting temperatures than my 9600XT did. Idles at like 47C while my 9600XT was 47C at load.

Dude, not being a fan boy and all, but the current chipset for the P-M isn't gonna last and you are gonna have to replace the whole lot once you upgrade. While the AMD is gonna stay on one northbridge. I think that NF4 is gonna stay for awhile considering some people are still using NF3 chipsets. Ei...
