Hi all, one of my 3 yate loon 120mm fans (the 1600rpm version) recently started making a hell of a noise. can anyone tell me what a pleated filter is?
and especially: where can i buy it and for how much?

atm im using a cooking hood filter, but it blocks kinda too much airflow :(

hmzz interesting read about the MCP655 or D5 pump dewds actually i was allmost going to buy me one... first i wanted to buy the CSP-MAG pump too, but then Marci (thermochill dewd) told me that they are getting alot more broken CSP pumps back in there shop, and hardly get any D5 pumps back the CSP-75...

thx for the answer i have a cm stacker case with 120mm fans runnin at 1700rpm but my cpu and gpu fan are atm louder then those, so actually i do not know yet the result of having only 120mm fans at +-1700rpm i am planning to buy watercooling soon (thermochill pa120-2 and gpu and cpu block with a DD ...

well... on 2th thought i think of goin for those papst again ;) my cooler master 120mm fans are also about 1600rpm, like the papst 4412, and the nexus is only 1000rpm so if i took those nexus fans i would prolly still here the same noise as with the papst, cause of those cooler master fans... and if...

how about the quality of that nexus fan? is it as good as fe a papst (which i only know by hearing good things about it, until reading this thread ;)) cause it might be more silent, but id like a reliable fan too (and i didnt really hear from Nexus before in my life ;)) my plan was to put 2 of them ...
