You can try to connect the fan to a motheboard 3pin chassis fan. I am curious though. You cannot control the 3pin fan connected to the motherboard 4pin using the bios, a motherboard utility, speedfan or something else? My bad axe 4 pin fan controller cannot control 3 pin fan. I think threadstarter ...

Re: Will I be able to undervolt the CPU?
The artificial limit of 1.1V is caused bu the CPU's not by the boards. The limit can not be caused by the CPU, since it is the board that applies the voltage to the chip. Sure, the chips may not like sub-1.1 voltages, but the chips themselves can't stop us from applying said voltages. it's caused b...

Directx 10 will be useless until Windows Vista release. Guess it still quite long to wait.

Thank you. I just wasn't happy with a passing reference, since this is the first I've heard of it. I have a feeling AMD did that just to prevent OEMs from making "Turion equivilant" notebooks using desktop processors.and software like CrystalCPUID. Thus, you can undervolt all you want in the BIOS ,...

I don't run any "wierd" apps like Photoshop, however, that have bizarre memory all...

Dual core cpus have two, slightly slower cores than the fastest single core systems. They work best with workloads that can execute tasks in parallel. I'm hardly an expert on the decoding of mpeg video, but my guess is that current dual core processors might be marginal for this task. The dual core...
