Wow! I am really amazed by this case. Definitely my next case if I get enough money from summer job (I mean after buying new VGA-card and motherboard). Antec really has been THE casemaker after P180. No one can really challenge them in silent cases. Also I like Antec's design, especially in P150 and...

My Sony HD-mp3player had EUs volume cap. I noticed a tip how I can remove the cap and it worked. When player was in full volume w/ EU cap it was way too silent when using my nonsensitive headphones. When I removed the cap the volume became much much louder. Still, I had to raise MP3s volume with mp3...

I have tested the CM outside the case w/ wire trick and *I* really can't hear it from 30cm and if I put my ear very close I only hear very quiet motor noise. It may be possible that it gets louder when loaded at 450w, but my in my case the fan does _not_ ramp up, or I at least can hear that. I quess...

THG reviewed the same board, their temps were quite different: "With our settings, the CPU fan was always off during normal Windows use. In fact, the processor never got any warmer than 43°C. Watching a DVD resulted in a system load of about 25%, but even this only increased the temperature by one d...

Try unplugging the front fan altogether and test what happens to the temperatures (and noise). Cheers, Jan That would work, temps are now: Processor: 35c MB: 30c PWM: 34c Seagate 27c Those are bit lower than usual because this computer has not been used in three days. Anyway, I think my temps would...

Re: I can't wait for mone to Arrive
It seems that users here keep Seasonics' 430-watt PSU as a silent one.Dirty-Harry wrote:I already ordered my P180.
I value the opinions of the regulars here. Any recommendations for a quiet or fanless PSU would be greatly appreciated.

My ghettoish system with familiar frame
When I got my modern system at christmas -03 it was loud as hell. I wasn't too interested about computer hardware but I soon got inetrested. At the same time I also got interested in silencing computer. My second setup was a lot quieter: noname-ATX-case changed to Antec Sonata w/ its original PSU. I...

Alternative for Asus Smartdoctor?
Asus Smartdoctor can control Asus' VGAs fan. It works with Asus' modified forcewares only and they crash every game in my computer. Smartdoctor also is piece of rubbish, it works whenever it wants. I need an alternative. I have allready tried: Gainward Expertool - not working, CoolFX-button is gray ...

Re: Antec tri-cool fans. So how good are these? Will half of the folks on these forums rush and replace them with third-party fans? It's "quiet" at low setting, but as we all know, quiet can mean anything. Is it quiet relative to other SPCR recommended fans? Note that I didn't do any research and I...
