That is not the problem I have

New P180 door (with extra magnets) on old p180 case. It isn't warping, but the middle sticks out.

P180 front door replacement.

I've had this case since the start of this year. Front door warp had gotten worse over time. I finally decided to get a replacement. I started by emailing Altech (Australian Antec distro) and asked if they can post it out to me. They refused, so I went to Antec support. They got me into contact with...

Hmm, I have found out that many people are having a problem with the XFX 7800GT where the fan control does not work meaning it stays spinning at 100% all the time. I'm having a hard time telling whether it is that or my CPU which is making all that noise. Just earlier there was a weird vibrating noi...

I havn't put tape where the vga duct exits, I could consider that. Removing a slot cover under my vid card seemed to help actually, so thanks for that. Though it may be due to lower ambient temps, restart etc. The hot to touch hdd cage was only that one time, I can only guess it was because it had b...

I already tested the 3 fans on low and high and can't really tell over the noise of the CPU/GPU, I can't even tell which it is, it's that loud. I'll give your suggestion a try.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Yes, as I said the ambient temps are around ~31C and no aircon :( All 3 fans, rear, top, hdd chamber, are on high setting. I have really no idea what the problem may be. I can try and take some photos of the interior of my case but I don't know what other information I can ...

Ambient right now is ~31C

CPU is ~47C
GPU is ~53

No aircon.

The fact it should be in the 30s is a little worrying.

ok, upon rebooting and leaving the side panel off for a minute the HDD cage is actually touchable, warm but I can hold my hand there fine. The CPU temp is now ~42C While GPU is 51C. Hmm still a bit high and I want to keep the side panel on obviously...

Thanks for the welcome :) I've searched a lot of forums which discuss the P180 and have never seen the case feet come off for anybody? Weird, especially considering the other silicone feet seem perfect on my case. Glue it is I guess. As for the warping, does this ever NOT happen on a P180? I mean is...

P180 case feet come off?

Hi, First time posting on SPCR. I recently purchased an Antec P180 case. Upon opening the package, removing the case, and putting it on my desk, one of the silicone feet at the base of the case came off completely. I put it back but it comes off very easily when grabbing it. Of course, it is fine wh...
