Which LCD mount are you using? Also, how did you manage to get your fans to hang like that? I'm really impressed with how clean your setup looks. The fans on the Heatsinks are clipped on with the clips that come with the heatsinks. All the other fans are put on with rubber plugs: http://www.ikbenst...

The Myboook heh thats a different story. Indeed it is noisy, but thats mostly because of vibration noise. It can be more silent when it's placed on some foam. But what I have heard is that most external HDD's are noisy. One thing with my version is, it doesn't boot with the PC. It only boots when I ...

Indeed I folllowed the site, already once so I'm confused if I should try it again. But could it be possible that when you move the heatsink too much later on you can also get not so good temperatures. I remeberd that I moved against the heatsink allot when I tried to replace an older Papst fan with...

I'm going to use AS5 otherwise I have to buy another tube of paste. I'll use a bank/credit card to spread a thin layer, this worked great on the Geforce. I hope you're right about the Scytje fans, call me mad but I just ordered a pair (1200 rpm) I hope to receive them before the weekend. New temps: ...

Upcomming fridayI'll remove the heatsink and refit it. So how should I best apply the thermal paste then? Last time I followed the instrucions from the Arctic site. should I spread it out myself this time? Does anyone has examples from the amount of paste that has to be applied? On the Thermalright ...

How about the room ambient temp? The ambient temperature is around the 23C I'd guess that the "presence" you are hearing is a product of the Noctua fans? Indeed, a slight whoosh sound from the outtake Noctua. Anyways....might want to doublecheck the heatsink attachment....maybe not making solid con...

It's summer here so it's pretty hot outside. Like you mentioned; I also applied the Paste like that on my heatsink. But still is it only the CPU thats too hot, or are the other component also too hot? I already had a hunch but I still can't put my finger on what the real heat problem is. I'll wait f...

Well thats the problem. I already mod the case to fit a GTX, even before I bought it  It was easy to do but I felt bad to cut such a beautifull case. But now I'm doubt myself if it would be smarter to go for the GTS. I have a 7800 GTX now with a Zalman on it. It's a bit noisy and not too hot, ...
